About Us

The HousErasmus+ project aims to identify the challenges and best practices around accommodation for international students and trainees. Based on these information, we will make concrete recommendations and advocate for an improved situation for all mobile students and trainees in Europe.

The project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme under the Key Action 3: Forward-Looking Cooperation projects (EACEA/33/2014) heading.

Our Research:

  • A comprehensive literature review
  • Surveys to the different student housing stakeholders in Europe
  • 10 study visits at the local level

Follow the HousErasmus+ regional conference in Paris!

The last regional conference of the project is taking place at the Universite Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris.

A much more ecclectic group that usual, this conference, while taking place in a unique location, offering a beautiful view over Paris, offers some real chances to bring stakeholders together and foster discussion among people on different ends of the student housing spectrum.

Follow us on twitter or Facebook to get some insights about the work we are doing.

The HousErasmus+ Regional Conference in Budapest is taking place now!

It is now time for the 3rd regional conference of the project to take place.

This time, we are gathering in the ELTE university in Budapest to have 2 days of fruitful discussions and learning about international students housing challenges in the central and eastern European region.

The Class of 2020 Conference Magazine article on HousErasmus+ results

You can find here the link to the article we published in The Class of 2020 magazine that gives you already an idea of the data we gathered and what needs to be addressed to improve student housing for international students.

We did not have all the data collected at the time we wrote the aticle so you can expect more discoveries when we will release our research paper in the coming months.

Registrations for the 1st HousErasmus+ regional conference are open
